Functionally designed and distinguished, Homes by Howe have created an enduring and responsive family home that truly embraces modern living.
Nestled in a leafy enclave, Homes by Howe’s Chapman Display Home is a contemporary addition to the suburban landscape. It echos the modernist architecture of 1960s Canberra. An aesthetic of clean lines, geometric proportions and crisp white-washed finishes.
A place for the entire family
Our Display Home makes clever use of the sloping site by embracing split-level living. As you move through the home, principle living spaces give way to more private areas. The light filled open plan kitchen and living area on the entrance floor draws people towards the heart of the home. The living area features expansive views back towards Black Mountain. Three of the ground floor bedrooms open into the garden, creating a series of private retreats.
Talostone bench tops add a refined finish that give the home an enduring aesthetic. High quality inclusions such as Miele’s range of appliances make the kitchen a joy to use.

Clean, modern materiality and pared back styling allows you to focus on unique features such as the hand blown glass pendants by Annette Blair Glass. A sense of the artisanal radiates from the pendants and extends throughout the rest of the home. This reflects the craftsmanship essential to Homes By Howe’s approach.

Light is one of the defining features of the home. Velux skylights in the main bathroom open and close automatically with steam and rain. The pared back colour palette creates a sense of luxury.

It is the balance between a strong contextual foundation and contemporary additions that give this home its unique feel and charm. Through the inclusion of crafted details and innovative additions Homes by Howe is able to create an enduring aesthetic that is unequivocally Canberran.
